Bad Lieutenant REMAKE?!?!
I just heard through www.obsessedwithfilm.com that Werner Herzog is planning to remake one of the best underground films of all time, Bad Lieutenant. This seminal film from Abel Ferrara is the ultimate vehicle for actor Harvey Keitel, rivalling The Piano, Reservoir Dogs and Taxi Driver as roles that have defined Keitel’s career. Well it might give Cage the kick in the bum that he needs to get back to his roots and start acting again. Although a remake of any cult classic is not the best way to go about it…
