Look, it’s only 7:12 p.m. Pacific Time, and already they’re running through the Best Actress nominees?! Lotsa good noms this year, minus Ellen Page. Oh, I’m playing a sarcastic pregnant teenager, nominate me! Okay…here you go. So, who’ll win, Forrest Whittaker (last year’s hyper-overrated Oscar winner)?

Let’s see. WHAT???????? Marion Cotillard, forgive the misspelling, just won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Listen to me now and believe me later, I could not GET THROUGH this film. It is SOOOOO boring!!!! I mean she’s fine in it at all, but this mermaid-looking woman with the fish-scale gown winning the Best Actress award is a bit out of my orbit of logic and believability. What’s going on tonight??? I mean, Julie Christie was supposed to win, mind you, for a movie I did not see, but that doesn’t mean that Marion Cotillard (again, pardon the misspelling) should win for a movie I WALKED OUT OF!

Let’s hope for a return to reason the rest of the night.
