Bono, Bill Pullman, and more
Yesterday, I was hanging out behind the barade, (yes, actually inside) the MySpace lounge at the bottom of the town lift. The highlight of my day was meeting with some fun, interesting, down to earth people who love entertainment, movies and all things digital (you know who you are so I’ll protect the innocent and not divuldge details of our bonding moments). But here are some takeaways I can share:
- The MySpace party with Maroon Five was a blast Friday night (source: hard core partiers, I’d take their word for it)
- In Bruges lived up to its hyped expectation, very good (source: Sundance board of director, entertainment exec with great taste)
- There is no way in hell to get tickets to the U2 3D Sundance premiere, no matter how cool you try to play it (source: producer, U2 3D movie, super nice guy who didn’t say it like that at all, just that was going to be an insane, packed event).
Later that night, we bellied up to the bar at Bistro 412. My friend spotted Bill Pullman, who is looking mighty fine these days, while I remained oblivious, focuses soley on my anchovy filled ceasar salad. I’m working on my star spotting skills and keep you posted.
