Neil Young does, indeed, get around

Pleased are we at Jaman, indeed, to see the concert documentary Neil Young Trunk Show making the rounds of American art houses. The concert film sees the veteran, nigh-unstoppable rocker backed by a band of talented musicians and an evocative array of objects to reconstruct his personal and musical history.

The film is the second in a projected trilogy of Young concert films from filmmaker Jonathan Demme, who in addition to myriad other accomplishments has crafted a notable number of concert films, having worked with Talking Heads, Robyn Hitchcock, and Spalding Grey (as well as some remarkable music videos). But Young himself is no stranger to filmmaking, and under the nom de plume Bernard Shakey has directed several offbeat and effective works. Including Get Around, a long-form music video spun from Young's Grammy-nominated 2009 album Fork In The Road. Get Around is available exclusively on Jaman, and free to our customers around the world!
